Ok then.

Playing around on Facebook, I came across this interesting  advertisement to join a group. It basically suggests a group for you based on the fact that "apparently" lots of of people from a group you've joined, also joined the suggested group.

I think it lies and just randomly matches things up from obscure data.

Anyway, this one was pretty funny;

Barack Obama ... because lots of his fans are also big fans of formerly New Zealand's 3rd best folk parody Duo.

Match Report - K.E.H.A.N.A

K.E.H.A.N.A vs Macho Men

A lot of fear was surrounding the players coming into this match. The fact that we'd lost to Macho Men 12 - 2 earlier in the season, the fact that Jaime wasn't playing, the fact that Brandon was playing !
But we still kept in the back of our minds 2 things, we'd beaten the top team by 8 goals and we had my grandmother watching the game (which meant we had strong gandparentic energy flowing to us).

We started the match strongly, with a great ball from Tom leading to a simple goal for Joe to blast in. However that would be the end of good play for a while, as our defence poorly worked together and led to a barrage of Macho Men goals.
We played well in parts in the second half, and Super Sub Brooks T. was able to provide a spark up forward and slot home a second for K.E.H.A.N.A. But it was too little, too late.
  • Good link up play from Tom and Joe
  • Great defence from Chris - His best performance to date
  • Brandon was annoying with his screaming and arguing with the ref. Kept well though.

  • Tom played strongly at the back, and effectively up forward
    - 8/10
  • Ben was, again, unable to find that fantastic defensive form he had during the match against Dbd's
    - 6/10
  • Brandon was solid in defence and keeper, but left wanting in attack
    - 7/10
  • Chris was fantastic in defence and had a very good spell up forward with a sizzling shot that was unfortunately just off target, hitting the crossbar.
    - 8.5/10
  • Tyler had a good game when he moved forward, but his keeping skills let him down at times
    - 7/10
  • Joe was strong in his forays forward, and made some good tackles in defence. Poor in keeper at times. - 7/10
Final Score -

K.E.H.A.N.A -  2 - 8 -  Macho Men

Scorers - Blay J.
             - Brooks T. (Super Sub)

Laughter.

The issue of laughter and, in particular, the sounds of peoples laughter has been raised in recent times. So here at Joseph Blay laboratories, I've compiled a list of my top 5 laughers in our group, in order of how aesthetically pleasing and good their laugh is:

1 - Miggy P - A striking laugh at first, that mellows out towards the end and begins solidly with a high pitched shriek of pure joy. It's great.

2 - Matthew Wong - Similar to Miguel's, Matthew's laugh begins in a great high pitched fashion, that then continues to reverberate however throughout the duration of laughter.

3 - McGee - Daniel's laugh is a unique and beautiful sound. Reminiscent of the sound of air escaping from a balloon, Daniel laughs for a longer duration than most, and it compliments his equally enjoyable facial expressions.

4 - Conor - Conor, like McGee, has a very unique laugh. It peaks and lows at random intervals, and is the purest form of actual, "HA HA" sounds available.

5 - Chris - A very strong laugh is produced by our dear friend Christopher. It incorporates elements of both Conor and Mcgee's laughs to provide an enjoyable and humorous blend.

Brilliant.

New revelations -

  • After months of it's horrid promotion via Andy Lee in my ears during the Hamish and Andy show podcast, I finally decided to try a Crunchie Ice-Cream. WOW ... CRUNCHIE ICE-CREAM IS AWESOME.  IT'S SO DELICIOUSLY TASTY AND CARAMEL AND CREAMY AND KAPOW !
  • Using the word, 'KAPOW !' in your Lit oral presentation get's you a 24/30 grade
  • Dexter is a very annoying Chihuahua

Narwals.

Narwals are the Unicorns of the ocean.
Only real and more awesome. Upon judgement day, when God chooses which of the good will go to heaven, God will choose all of the Narwals.
Narwals are also one of only 3 things Chuck Norris is capable of loving; Texas, America, Narwals.
Narwals sport a fashionable underwater Horn of Magic, with mysterious and secret powers unfathomable to man.

Nice Name.

A few things -

  • This post has a funny numerical name
  • Matthew has, "Epic stage presence"
  • Do I like RISE AGAINST ?
  • On the topic if Rising Against ... Remember Matthew rising against gravity and doing his guitar-running- on-the-spot ? Well here's a nice little video for you of Coldplay performing, "Yellow" live in Tokyo during their Viva La Vida tour. The balloons, crowd and lighting make it incredible, but watch out at 3:04 for some of Chris Martin's own guitar-running.

Match Report - K.E.H.A.N.A

K.E.H.A.N.A vs (Weird number thingy)

Win: 3 - 2

  • Chris was extra special in defence tonight - 8/10
  • Ben could have been better, but was solid when he needed to be - 6.5/10
  • Tom was instrumental in all attacking play, fantastic game - 9/10
  • Brandon seemed wanting in attack, defended well, managed to score a goal - 8/10
  • Joe was strong in keeper, terrible in attack, solid in defence - 7.5/10
  • Jaime was a great sub, defended well, kept well, not so prolific up forward - 7/10

Highlights -

  • Chris's close attempt in recreating his halfway goal from last week
  • Brandon's crazy screaming like a retard daemon
  • Toms great passing and super-dribble goal
  • Joe missing a perfect opportunity, the not hitting the ball hard enough and it dribbling slowly towards the goal line, before the goalkeeper had enough time to recover and pick it up with ease

Next week - We play what is rumoured to be Wattsy's team !

Joe did art ! :O Pt 2

Joe did art ! :O

Don't panic ... I did it on the computer, where all of my art is done because I can't actually do REAL art. Therefore, I have decided to artistically "Remix", if you will, several different versions of various Coldplay album art.

Here they are;

Let me know what you think !
