JORDAN EDWARDS IS AMAZING.

HE GOT ME A NERF GUN YOU GUYS !!!!

:D

HELLO MR DODGSON.

After being so disheartened at the lack of Christmas Lights at my house (In Gerladton) the other night, I thought you might like to know that I was inspired by your Christmas lights passion and have covered my entire home in a dazzling array of bright and colourful Christmas lights!

I even hand built an extra story onto the house so we could fit more Christmas lights!

[That's definitely my house]
[I haven't stolen that picture from google images at all, I used my own camera]

Christmas Lights.

Coldplay's latest release. It took me a few listens to like it. It's grown on me now.

Where Do We Go?

The answer is ... I don't know :D

BUT -

Chris Martin is asking the same question -

My Addictions.

So instead of studying and preparing myself for the most important exams of my life, I instead have been slacking off and becoming addicted to certain things. So that you can read this and not feel so bad/feel better about yourselves if you have been studying, here are my top 5 addictions:

  1. Guitar - Seriously, I can't stop playing. And it doesn't help when I own two, so I get assaulted from two different parts of the house.
  2. Ratchet and Clank - Prior to our end of semester exams, some of you may remember that I went on a crusade to complete all of the Ratchet and Clank games released on PS2. After some strong success at the beginning that was put on hold until recently, where I can now ruin my life. Come on captain Quark!
  3. Facebook - Just too strong, gives me the opportunity to annoy people and just generally do, "Stuff"
  4. PSP - I actually play Need For Speed on it ALOT. It annoys me because I devote time to attaining a fictitious car.
  5. TV - Having Foxtel is not good during exam times. With such quality viewing such as MANswers, South Park, Saturday Night Live, Family Guy, Futurama and the like, the pull is too strong.
So there we have it folks, this is what I do instead of preparing for Maths and Chemistry.

C-C-C-CINNAMON LIPS.

Ok so there's this lyric in an Ok Go song called, "C-C-C-Cinnamon Lips" ... and it's really annoying me.

It goes,

"Does it rain where you are? Does it snow? And if so remind me not to go there the weather affects my knee" ...

WHAT THE FUCK DOES THAT MEAN!!

"The weather affects my knee" ...

WHAT!

WHATDOWEDONOW.SCHOOLISOVER.

Well we've all had a wonderful, magical rainbow(lol Milk) journey with eachother over the past 5 years at school. It's sad that we won't be attending regular school anymore but we still do have more school related events to attend (Such as exams and catholic celebrations of Christ (Matthew)) ... stupid school.

However, yesterday was our final day and it was celebrated by all the year twelve's.

So here are a few highlights from the day -

FINAL

Victory -- 5 -3

Despite Brandon (Fucking Brandon) trying to steal the K.E.H.A.N.A match reports from me, here is your OFFICIAL team report.

We won, and were awesome. Played the best we played all season, and that meant even more considering we only had 5 players.

Goalscorers were Tom (2), Brandon (1), Ben (1), and Joe (1) but I'm not sure if mine was a goal or not? hmmmm.

All in all a deserved victory.

SEASON WRAP UP:

Player of The Season: Thomas, Caramel Cake, Mcghloughlamilkcheeselolbrandonfreespiritlin
Leading Goalscorer: Free Spirit
Best & Fairest: Brandon King
Most Improved: Joe Blay
Worst Goalkeeper: Ben Cheng
Best Bogan: Chris Cullinan

Will Joe be joining "The Awesome" next season as UNKNOWN ... cos he'll play in goals permanently :D?
Remains to be seen.

All in all, looking forward to next season.

My New Jacket.

Well the other day I bought a new jacket. It's really awesome and looks kind of militaristic. It looks like a sergeant's jacket from some kind of future earth army who have lasers. Whenever I put it on, I suddenly feel like this great army leader guy who commands his troops on some far off snow world with an icy glare.

And then I have to go and play Dawn Of War with the Imperial Guard ( Interestingly an Earth army from the future with lasers - as mentioned above) and feel all cool.

You'll see it tonight at Geoff/Tom's ...

And be amazed !

Match Report - K.E.H.A.N.A

K.E.H.A.N.A vs Jast 19

Result - Loss -- 5 - 6

Goalscorers;

Joe - 3
Brandon - 1
Tom/Jaimie? - 1

  • Tom is amazing and jizztastic. His pass for me to score my third goal was ... just ... *Faints*
  • Brandon should close his legs when in the goals.
  • Yeah ... Brandon ...
  • Brandon should also not show up late and then not pay the price of missing game time.
  • Brandon should also do his allotted 10 minutes in goals next time.
  • Brandon scored epically however.
  • Yet again we're in front and then concede at the last moment to lose ...

The Island of Tetra.

For those of you who did the Maths Competition paper last week with the last question being about the island of  Tetra, remember how we all took a guess and wasted time drawing maps on our one regulation sheet of working paper?

This smart guy has figured it out;

Q - There are so many towns on the island of Tetra, all connected by roads. Each town has three roads leading to three other different towns: one red road, one yellow road and one blue road, where no two roads meet other than at towns. If you start from any town and travel along red and yellow roads alternately (RYRY...) you will get back to your starting town after having travelled over six different roads. In fact RYRYRY will always get you back to where you started. In the same way, going along yellow and blue roads alternately will always get you back to the starting point after travelling along six different roads (YBYBYB). On the other hand, going along red and blue roads alternately will always get you back to the starting point after travelling along four different roads (RBRB). How many towns are there on Tetra?

Solution;

24 Towns.

Thank you to: Matthew Stoneham
EDIT; And Anonymous

Now I don't know what you guys put as the answer, but I put 7 ... so ... EDIT; Not so ... close ...

With The Hoosiers new album due to be released shortly, here are my top 3 picks for the singles to come from The Illusion of Safety;

  1. Choices - The most obvious one ... considering it's already the first single !
  2. Bumpy Ride - (Video Below) It's a very cool and upbeat song. Already been picked up and received media attention via (Strangely) friend of the band Perez Hilton ...
  3. Unlikely Hero - The song I feel is shaping up to be my favourite from the album. Very upbeat and "Pop" styled. Sure to gain success.
  4. WILD CARD(S) - Glorious and/or Made to Measure and/or Giddy Up - Could all also be singles. Perhaps they'll have more than 3 singles from this album? :O

Euro AFL.

While last night I was at the football with Miguel watching a gallant Eagles side lose to the Lions, some 500 Swiss went to watch the German national AFL side play the Swedish  national AFL side.

There is a surprisingly high amount of European nations that have AFL teams;

Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Great Britain and Finland (Who in their last match scored 2.1 (13) over all 4 quarters :P )

Amazing.

OtherStreets.

Well, now that Emerson has revealed that it is he who first discovered Celadon Loop and Viridian Road (Even though I'm close to living there) I thought that some further research into pokemon related street names was in order;

  • Saffron City (Kanto) has multiple entries. There is Saffron Hill, Loop, Street, Lane, Place and Drive.
  • Pallet Town (Kanto) has multiple entries. There is Pallet Street, Drive, Road and Hill along with "Pallet Recovery centre" and "Pallet Racking Company"
  • Pewter City (Kanto) has multiple entries. There is Pewter Avenue, Lane, Gate and Circle.
  • Mt Moon (Kanto) actually exists as, "Moon Mountain" in the United States.
  • Cerulean City (Kanto) has multiple entries. There is Cerulean Way, Drive, Road, Avenue and Towers.
  • Fuchsia City (Kanto) has multiple entries. There is Fuchsia Court (Interestingly enough around the corner from where my Grandfather lives), Crescent, Street, Way and Close.
  • Cinibar Island (Kanto) lives on as Cinibar Court and and Cinibar Way.
  • New Bark Town (Johto) exists as New Bark Circle in the United States.
  • I can't be bothered looking any others up but looking at what I've found there's probably lots more from other city names from other Regions ... (Goldenrod City has a few entries I think)
I might end up living on Viridian :P

CinemaCops.

Ok so, the other night when we went to the movies I was a little late because I had been with my mother putting an offer on a house on VIRIDIAN(Pokemon) Road. So when I went up to the counter to buy the ticket, the guy told me it was sold out, so I purchased a ticket for Toy Story 3 instead. I then still went into Knight & Day. There were spare seats so I dunno what the problem was there ...

Because the cinema was so packed full, the CinemaCops kept coming in to make sure nobody was being rowdy ... and I KNEW she was staring at me. So I couldn't concentrate ... I was paranoid. Wild ideas are running through my head such as;

  • As soon as I step outside security will be there and I'll cry and they'll tackle me to the ground and call me, "Dirtbag".
  • They'll identify me and ban me for life
  • The lady is going to take me at any moment from my seat and make me apologise to the manager
  • I will cry.
Unable to deal with my criminal ways I decided to flee. Luckily the movie was boring so convincing McGee to come with me was no trouble. Then Ashlyn came with us too. Then because of that, Brittany and Eddy came with us. And we ran in the rain.

And I evaded the CinemaCops ... for now.

Here is a very low quality picture of the album art for The HoOsiers new album, "The Illusion of Safety".
Looks similar to the artworkz they used during the, "Worried about Ray" days.

Hamilton Island.

A while ago (years) I went on a trip to Hamilton Island for wedding of one of my cousin's. If you haven't been there, it's amazing and you should go. Top stuff.
Looking through old photos I found some snaps from the trip which each reminded me of a story from that holiday. So let me regale you with a tale and some pictures !

First up we have the picture my mum took directly after I was thrown out of the pub for being under-age and near the slot machines (If you didn't know, just about everywhere else in Australia except Perth has gambling facilities all over the shop). Looks like I'm afraid of security. I was.

Pictured here is me tearing up the track on the go-karts. This commemorates the day in which my Uncle Graham was the unfortunate recipient of me T-Boning his go-kart in a tight corner, at full speed. Cue large bang. BANG.

Here we see sexy Joe. This is just after we had arrived and you can see I was totally up for some hot Hamilton Island babes to come and take care of me after such long flights. This picture's story is that as I was posing, my cousin Kahlia saw me for the first time in a long time, like that for the camera. Brilliant.

And finally, here's a photo of the happy couple;

This post is extremely delayed ... considering I didn't have a blog back then. :D

Dream Team.

Entering the FIFA competition, "Dream Team" in which entrants pick amongst players in the world cup their top 11 to form the 2010 World Cup Dream Team, required me to accept a terms and conditions agreement.

Upon reading this I found some interesting points ... ;

"Each entrant must ensure that his or her participation in the Contest is lawful in accordance with the laws of Switzerland and of the country of which he or she is a citizen"

Ok then .... better read up on Swiss law

Ok then.

Playing around on Facebook, I came across this interesting  advertisement to join a group. It basically suggests a group for you based on the fact that "apparently" lots of of people from a group you've joined, also joined the suggested group.

I think it lies and just randomly matches things up from obscure data.

Anyway, this one was pretty funny;

Barack Obama ... because lots of his fans are also big fans of formerly New Zealand's 3rd best folk parody Duo.

Match Report - K.E.H.A.N.A

K.E.H.A.N.A vs Macho Men

A lot of fear was surrounding the players coming into this match. The fact that we'd lost to Macho Men 12 - 2 earlier in the season, the fact that Jaime wasn't playing, the fact that Brandon was playing !
But we still kept in the back of our minds 2 things, we'd beaten the top team by 8 goals and we had my grandmother watching the game (which meant we had strong gandparentic energy flowing to us).

We started the match strongly, with a great ball from Tom leading to a simple goal for Joe to blast in. However that would be the end of good play for a while, as our defence poorly worked together and led to a barrage of Macho Men goals.
We played well in parts in the second half, and Super Sub Brooks T. was able to provide a spark up forward and slot home a second for K.E.H.A.N.A. But it was too little, too late.
  • Good link up play from Tom and Joe
  • Great defence from Chris - His best performance to date
  • Brandon was annoying with his screaming and arguing with the ref. Kept well though.

  • Tom played strongly at the back, and effectively up forward
    - 8/10
  • Ben was, again, unable to find that fantastic defensive form he had during the match against Dbd's
    - 6/10
  • Brandon was solid in defence and keeper, but left wanting in attack
    - 7/10
  • Chris was fantastic in defence and had a very good spell up forward with a sizzling shot that was unfortunately just off target, hitting the crossbar.
    - 8.5/10
  • Tyler had a good game when he moved forward, but his keeping skills let him down at times
    - 7/10
  • Joe was strong in his forays forward, and made some good tackles in defence. Poor in keeper at times. - 7/10
Final Score -

K.E.H.A.N.A -  2 - 8 -  Macho Men

Scorers - Blay J.
             - Brooks T. (Super Sub)
