William Champion - Coldplay

It's official, Will Champion of Coldplay is the best drummer in the world. What makes it even better is that Will didn't even start his musical career as a drummer, he had to be persuaded by the other members of Coldplay to take up the position, with no prior experience.
In actual fact, Mr Champion grew up playing both electric and bass guitar, in addition to piano and of all things, tin whistle. He played guitar for his previous band, Fat Hamster.

Of course Chris and his fellow bandmates are a little biased.

And it's clear why Mr Martin would disagree. You can see why he's the best drummer in the world with his extremely difficult Viva La Vida, "church bell odyssey" drumming.

A song that's, "Somehow made it to number one in America, goodness knows how".

Now I'm sure that we could get Conor to interpret the drum tabs to this mystical feat, but instead how about you just trust me? It's hard to play.
